Larry Edwin Craig (born July 20, 1945) is an American politician. He is a former Republican politician from the U.S. state of Idaho. He served 18 years in the U.S. Senate (1991–2009), preceded by 10 years in the U.S. House, representing Idaho's first district (1981–91).[3]
