நஜாப் (Najaf, அரபு மொழி: النجف; BGN: An Najaf) என்பது ஈராக்கின் நகரங்களில் ஒன்றாகும். இது பகுதாதுவிற்கு 160 கிலோமீற்றர் (roughly 100 miles) தொலைவில் தெற்காக அமைந்துள்ளது. 2013இன் மக்கள் தொகை கணக்கெடுப்பின் அடிப்படையில் இந்நகரத்தின் மக்கள் தொகை 1.000.000 ஆகும்.[1] நஜாப் நஜாப் மாகாணத்தின் தலைநகரமும் ஆகும். நஜாப் சியா இசுலாமியர்களுக்கு மூன்றாவது புனித இடமாக விளங்குகிறது. நஜாப் சியா உலகின் ஆன்மீக தலைமையிடமாகவும் ஈராக்கின் சியா அரசியலின் மத்திய இடமாகவும் விளங்குகிறது.[2][3][4][5][6] இந்நகரம் இமாம் அலி சிறைனினதும், மில்லியன் கணக்கான யாத்ரிகர்களுக்கு தாய் இடமாக விளங்குகிறது.
