Rap rock (also called Rockrap or Rock hip hop) is a genre of music that combines the vocals and compositions of hip hop with various forms of rock. Rap rock has gained popularity with its sub-genres rap metal and rapcore. Some of the most famous rap rock bands and musicans include Linkin Park, Hollywood Undead, P.O.D., Vanilla Ice, Kid Rock, Eminem, Deuce, Bizzy Bone and Roscoe Dash. Some artists have done more rapping rather than singing. It began during the 1980s and it is still a popular genre today.
