@Wrigglenite Why the title revert? It was my understanding that this kind of humorous/misleading titles are OK on Arqade. See e.g. gaming.meta.stackexchange.com/questions/821/… .

@FedericoPoloni Firstly, the question you linked is from 9 years ago. Things might not be the same anymore. Secondly, we should value title clarity over clickbait. It's one thing when a title is funny in context, but if we intentionally make a title unclear just for a couple more clicks, that's a problem.

@Wrigglenite Yes, the question is from 9 years ago. Has the policy changed in the meantime? Could you please point me to a more recent discussion on meta regarding this change? Or shall I open a new one myself? I couldn't find one on meta with a quick search. Also, the same meta discussion suggests that a question title doesn't need to specify the name of the game, a tag is sufficient. And the title seems clear enough to me once one knows the game it refers to.

@FedericoPoloni No, the title is not clear. It was purposefully edited to be less clear while being more clickbait-y. Removing games from titles is not obligatory, especially not when it results in titles like this.

  • Then what should the title be?

You're out of luck, you can't die in Goat Simulator.

You're an immortal soul - once human, maybe - doomed to be alone, caught in purgatory.

(This took a rather bleak turn.)

You can't die in Goat Simulator. The goat is invincible and will always bounce back up after rag-dolling.

It's possible in some versions of the game* to clip out of the world, thus despawning your goat and hanging the game, using Evil Goat's "attractor" ability whilst ragdoll in order to spin-fly very, very high and travel through the top of the skybox (skydome?). Turning the ability on and off with the right timing appears to grant you some level of control over the process, but I've only managed to do this successfully twice.

Notably, you cannot achieve this by clipping out of the side or the bottom of the world, since this results in you teleporting back to the spawn point.

The goat dying is not implemented into the game, so it is (as far as I can tell) impossible to recover from such an event.
