Billboard is an American magazine that lists the top albums and singles of the week. It is most famous for the Billboard charts.


Billboard was started on November 1, 1894 in Cincinnati, Ohio by William H. Donaldson and James Hennegan. It was called Billboard Advertising.


It started doing music charts in the 1930s.
